In the community & Giving Back

Since the very beginning, we have been committed to giving back to rescues, causes and other non-profits locally & nationwide. We make and ship thousands of dog collars, dog leashes, dog harnesses, cat collars and other gear each year to pets in need. You will find donated Lupine Pet gear in rescues & shelters, service dog trainings, Military working dog groups, search & rescue, prison dog programs, spay & neuter clinics and animal education centers across the country.

Outside of the donations and sponsorships made as a company, we’re proud to say that many of our team members can be found in our community helping out. From collecting food for the local food bank, to volunteering for cancer awareness & fundraising events to volunteering at local shelters & rescues.

Conway Area Humane Society

For over a decade, Lupine has been a supporter of the Conway Area Humane Society, a locally organized rescue and shelter. Conway Area Humane Society opened its doors to homeless cats and small mammals in June 2003. The response was immediate – 400 in the first six months; the “cat house” was full. Phase II, the dog facility, was accepting stray dogs from local animal control officers as well as owner-relinquished animals in June 2004. The Conway Area Humane Society has helped thousands of animals find their fur-ever homes.

Tin Mountain Conservation Center

Lupine has been proud to support Tin Mountain Conservation Center for more than 20 years. Tin Mountain is a non-profit, providing education programs that foster greater awareness and understanding of the natural environment for school children, adults, and families. Since it was founded in 1980 by Barbara Rockwell Henry and David Henry in Jackson, NH, the Center has offered hands-on programs in the schools, at summer camps and within communities throughout northern New Hampshire and western Maine. Younger children attend day camp, while a variety of week long ventures to wild areas in northern New England are offered to older age groups.

Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation

Since the first climb in 1998, Lupine has contributed to Jen’s Friends, a local cancer foundation that donates 100% of its proceeds. Jen’s Friends provides supplemental financial assistance and other resources to cancer patients and their families who are uninsured, under insured or financially challenged, allowing them to focus on battling cancer without worrying about the indirect financial burdens that often arise. Financial support is tailored to the individual’s needs, and may include support for housing, utilities, groceries, pharmaceuticals, childcare and travel costs.
