Properly fitting attire is a must for everyone! Measuring around your pet’s neck (for collars) and girth (for harnesses) then adding 5% for comfort is the general rule of thumb. There are many different shapes and sizes of pets and some will be more challenging to fit. We’re always happy to help with any sizing questions you may have! We recommend choosing the smallest possible size range that fits your pet’s actual measurement. If you have any question at all, please reach out to us before placing your order and we’d be happy to help.

Please note that all items are hand made. Because every item is cut and sewn by hand, it is possible that there will be some variance in our size measurements.

To request a replacement for your pet’s damaged LupinePet gear in the USA or Canada, please visit our Even if Chewed Guarantee (opens in new tab) and log-in to your account or create one, if necessary. Once you’ve reviewed the program you can proceed from there. We provide a replacement for your original purchased item and do not offer refunds for guarantee submissions. We do not provide free replacements for duplicate submissions, or, for items previously replaced under our guarantee. Customer is responsible for shipping, customs and duties when applicable. LupinePet will pass through the actual cost from the selected shipping service.

Outside the USA & Canada – Please use our contact form to email us (opens in new tab), provide your name, telephone number, address (including country), product information and size. We will reach out for photographs.

Items offered on LupinePet.com that are made by other manufacturers follow the policy of that specific manufacturer. All custom items, including personalized embroidery are Final Sale and not covered by the guarantee. Our guarantee covers products as outlined and we do not offer refunds of any kind.

Products such as dog harnesses (opens in new tab), dog leashes (opens in new tab), martingale dog collars (opens in new tab) and other training gear are intended for walking and training only and should not be left on an unattended or unleashed pet. For your pet’s safety we recommend that steps be taken to avoid future chewing incidents. We recommend Fooey®, a highly effective, non-toxic and odorless chew deterrent. LupinePet products are not recommended for tie-out.

We are happy to process an exchange or return of any brand new and un-used LupinePet gear with the tags intact, that has been purchased on LupinePet.com, within 60 Days of the original purchase. Please visit LupinePet Returns & Exchange to learn more, or to print the form and start a return or exchange.

Please Note: All custom items, including ID Tags & items with embroidery are final sale. All custom items are ineligible for return or exchange and are void from the LupinePet, Even if Chewed Guarantee.

To clean your LupinePet gear, machine or hand wash with warm (not hot) water and mild soap. No bleach, brighteners or whiteners.
Air dry only – do not put them in the dryer. For extreme situations, pre-soaking in an enzymatic cleaner like Nature’s Miracle or Simple Solution may be helpful. When machine washing, put items in a mesh bag or include items in with jeans or other sturdy clothes.
For our Splash BioThane® collection, simply wipe off with a damp cloth and air dry.

Shampoos and other topical treatments that contain bleaching agents, clarifiers, medicines or other chemicals can cause colors to transfer to your pet’s fur. When washing your pets gear, bathing your pet or applying any of the above, we recommend that their gear be removed until the items and/or your pet’s fur are completely dry.

When fitting the Roman style dog harness (opens in new tab), start by unbuckling the clasp on the girth strap. The strap with the D-ring should be on top with the D-ring pointing towards the tail. Place the two adjustable shoulder straps over the dog’s head. Pick up the dogs left front paw and place over the sternum strap, so that the strap passes between the front legs. Adjust and buckle the girth strap, this strap should be supported by the rib cage all the way around. Adjusting the shoulders smaller will shorten the front-to-back length of the harness. Adjust the sternum strap to a comfortably snug fit.

When fitting the Step-In dog harness (opens in new tab), once unbuckled, two openings are created for the paws. With one in each side, the adjustable sternum strap will fall between. Bring the ends up and around the dog’s back and fasten the buckle between the shoulders. Adjust the front and back straps for a secure fit then adjust the sternum strap to a comfortably snug fit.

A Martingale Collar (opens in new tab) is a dual-action, limited slip collar for walking and training. It is designed for dogs that can easily back out of regular collars (like greyhounds). Our LupinePet Martingale Collar is made with an additional sewn-in D-ring so the collar can be used either as a limited-slip collar or as a regular flat collar.

Please Note: Martingale collars are for walking and training only. For the safety of your pet, they should never be left on an unattended or unleashed dog.

Simple, stylish and secure clips lets you swiftly transition tags from collar to collar. When you want to change collars, simply unclip from your old collar or harness and clip it to the new one. Order Processing
Orders placed Monday through Friday by 12:00 PM Eastern Time are typically shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time will be processed and shipped on the next business day.

Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays. Orders placed outside of business hours will be received and processed on the next business day.

Custom ID Tags
Orders that include Dog Tag Art ID Tags or Boomerang ID Tags will ship separately directly from the manufacturer in North Carolina or California, USA. These items are custom made to order, so please allow additional processing time.

Please note that tracking information is not currently available for ID tag shipments from these manufacturers. Expedited shipping services do not apply to these items.

Specialty Items
Orders containing Underground Fence Collars or e-Collars require an additional one (1) business day for processing. If expedited shipping is selected, the order will ship via the chosen method as soon as the item is ready for shipment.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Options
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout and reflect the actual postage cost charged by the selected carrier, based on the destination and package weight. Orders of $40+ shipping to any USA address will receive discounted Standard Shipping of $2.99 via USPS Ground Advantage.

Tracking information will be provided via email once your order has shipped, provided an email address is supplied at checkout.

For time-sensitive orders, expedited shipping options are available. Please note that UPS Next Day is the only guaranteed delivery service.

International (Canada only) and expedited shipping options are also available at checkout, with real-time carrier rates provided.

Shipping Origin
All LupinePet branded products ship from our workshop in Center Conway, New Hampshire, USA.

Additional Information
Dog Tag Art orders are shipped Monday through Thursday only. Certain products may require additional processing time; any such delays will be noted on the product page.

All delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. LupinePet is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers and cannot refund shipping charges once an order has shipped.

We work hard to get every order out very quickly. While this is usually a great benefit, unfortunately it means that we cannot change or cancel an order after it has been submitted. We apologize for any inconvenience.
