My boy Loki is short haired dog but the clip I have his tags on to make changing collars easy (as we have multiple collars as he loves rolling in stuff) takes up most of the space on the ring, so finding space on the ring to hook his lead is hard. So I tried one of these. It made it easier to hook him up, but also his Grandma who has arthritic hands has an easier time getting to the ring. Now we have one that matches every collar (and he has a lot of collars lol.) I don't order a collar without it.

I use mine as a Keychain. Had it for a few years and still looks brand new.

I decided to post for anyone wondering. I too was told this was a keychain (at the time it matched collar and leash). That has been over 17 yrs ago and I am still using it! Quality above anything else!!!

Saw these at the counter of a pet supply in Minnesota called Petropolis. I asked the shopkeeper what they were. He said keychains. I loved the colors and sturdy design so I bought 6. Then came home and looked them up on your website. LOL GREAT keychains!

I have a tiny poodle wearing about a 3 1/2 houndstooth collar that my collar buddy would barely fit through. I had to use a knife to open up the collar buddy a bit which caused serious fraying that I tried to remedy with gorilla glue. Lots of effort when the loop could’ve just been made slightly larger.

I had never seen a product like this. We struggle to find a collar loop sometimes with a high energy dog with long fur. This has made it easier to find and it looks very nice with her collar and is a great idea. Well done product design!

This product matches my dog's collar so it's great to have to identify if he ever gets out which hopefully will never happen.

Such a simple idea that is a most useful. I've used one since my pup arrived and it is a God send, for catching the pup and attaching the lead. Excellent piece of dog equipment

So, I purchased this small Dog Collar Buddy for another reason than its intended purpose - Anyway, I bought it to attach to a small dog's jacket, behind the neck, so I don't have to put his harness on him. Small dogs aren't supposed to have the leash attached to their collars as their neck can be injured. Some coats have a ring on them, but mine didn't, so i had this sewn on. It is inexpensive and nice quality and comes in many colors. I may purchase more in the future for different coats. I was happy to find this!

I got this (in the sea turtle pattern) for my chihuahua Lexi's harness. She has the step in kind, and I found it difficult to use the two small loops each time I wanted to put a leash on her. Keeping the collar buddy on the harness makes it much easier, and it let me get a large dog pattern I really love for my small dog!

I love these collar buddy's unforunately I gave them to someone else as I did not realize that they would not work with the martingale collars I love. Suggestion would be to have them Velcro at the bottom opening. I should have read the whole description.

I like the collar buddy. It really helps trying to get a leash on a small dog with two tags on a small collar. My biggest complaint is that the loop is still so small that my leashes (I have mostly BIG dogs and use the heavier duty retractable leashes) are still difficult to clip into the tiny loop. Maybe I should have bought a larger size but then it wouldn't match with the collar and may be too big on the dog? I just wish the loop were a little larger.

I've been using the collar buddy with one of my rescues since 2010. It's great for dogs with a longer coat because the ring can be hard to locate. I recently adopted another rescue and immediately ordered this product with her new Lupine collar. She's got a bit of energy, and it's so much easier to clip the leash onto the collar buddy. I recommend buying a solid collar buddy so that you can switch it out with different collars when the mood strikes.

I just bought some Collar Buddies as gifts. Two of my granddaughters got their drivers license and I gave each a Collar Buddy for their key ring. They are so easy to hold. You can slip you thumb through the loop and hold your keys securely and comfortably! I love the colors!!

I have really horrible eye site and this just make it so much easier when i have to take my boy out. Love the teddy bear design. So cute and so functional

I originally purchased the small ones but they weren't long enough on my long haired dogs to save me trouble. Then I purchased the medium size for all of my dogs and they save me a lot of fumbling around. Not sure which email I purchased them under

I was so pleased to find this product. I have arthritis in my fingers, and it's difficult to clip the leash on the collar of my lab puppy. I had even clipped the leash on her name tag twice. This solved my problem. I couldn't be happier!

Frankly, putting a leash on your dog when they have thick fur is very difficult in the best situation; and then try hooking them up when you are wearing winter gloves and they are doing the "I have to potty" dance at the door

I bought the collar buddy to match my pet's collar and I love it. Instead of using the ring on the collar, you put the buddy on and put it in the middle of the pet collar and it is better and more comfortable for your pet.

I had never noticed this product before and it sounded like a great idea so I bought it. It keeps you from having to hook the lead to the collar and enables the dog to walk easier. I love it.

Really like this product. Great idea for all dogs, especially long haired dogs and one's that are being leash trained. Love that they match the collars that I've purchased from you, also.
