Original Designs Leash Coupler

I have 2 ESS and they walked shoulder to shoulder with one coupler. I really thought that each webbing extender was 24 inches but really 12 inches each side. Not enough room if one dog wants to sniffy-sniffy I ended up using a carabiner to hooking the Rose Garden and the Aspen Glow coupler together to give the dogs the extra foot.

I have been using Lupine collars & leashes since 1993 when I adopted my grey hound from Fast Friends in "93". I buried the first lead and coller with my grey and ever new family pet has followed suit at their death. I'm now on dogs 4 &5.These are quality made products. My dogs live well into their teens and they last that long. I bought a coupler because using 2 leashes was dangerous for me with my babies being 73 & 95 pounds. There was a learning curve for my babies & a peticular side each preferred but with a little patience it worked out. Its now a joy to walk them knowing I now have ful control if needed. They seem to enjoy their walks too. My big boy Clyde wears a martingale & my girl Bonnie wears a regular collar. Not only do I get a lot of compliments about the coupler but also their collars & leashes. I love that I can wash them in the washer and air dry to look good as new. I just wish the martingale had a clip buckle for easy on/off. Lupine is the only dog gear I buy the quality is outstanding!!!

I walk my mini schnauzer and chihuahua everyday for a nice long walk. It is difficult for me to navigate streets and obstacles using separate leads and the coupler is the answer to this problem. Both dogs took a couple days to adjust to walking with each other and now it is so easy to walk them. No pulling in different directions. It is actually safer for me and they look so cute walking together. I purchased the small coupler as my dogs weigh 10 and 15 pounds.

I use this coupler with the two collars my dog wears. I have a training collar that has fallen off at the most in opportune times. By putting the Lupine collar and using the matching coupler fights off the worry of my dog being free and possibly in traffic. The coupler remains attached to the Lupine collar and my dog remains safe. The couple eliminates the need for a second leash and the swivel of the single leash keeps the two collars separated and allows me to use one leash.

Wow! This coupler has made my life so much easier! I'm training my pup to walk as well as my 8 year old and this really helps! No tangling or twisting between the two dogs and the pup is actually learning from the older! I have already recommended it to all my friends who have more than one dog to walk!!

I went to my local pet store and saw that they carried absolutely nothing made in the USA something the frustrated consumer that I am that I cannot find made in the USA products I came home and searched online and found your website.

I don't know how people walk two dogs together without a coupler! I use the Medium size coupler which is perfect for my two 11 lb. miniature dachshunds. They very quickly learn how to cooperate and pull on each other instead of pulling on me. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the variety of colors and designs! High quality, I'm hooked.

I always use a leash coupler to walk my two dachshunds. It's great to find a source for them, especially in so many great patterns!

My dogs are 11 lbs each, so maybe if they were more in the 5 lb range, the coupler would be long enough, but for my dogs, it's not. They can hardly get far enough away from each other to go to the bathroom. I would suggest that Lupine could make these couplers adjustable, like a collar is (I hope they read this review!). I'm going to return my small one for the medium size that is 6 inches longer.

I have three dogs to walk. Thought it would be nice to link two of them togeather. Not. The leads are just too short to be effective. I think the manufacturer has another with longer leads. I may try that. Apart from that, I love their products (leashes & colars) I have bought them for years, and yes, they will replace damaged items - no questions, no problem.

We were afraid that our puppy will managed to escape from her harness, we simply connect the coupler to her collar, harness and leash - even if she slips out of the harness we can still control her on her collar. Excellent product!

I have a few sets of lupine things. I have 2 huskies. I love this new wolf design. It is perfect for us northern breed owners. The only thing I wish the design was on both sides.

I bought this to walking my daughter's Schnauzer and mine together. I got it to match the collar and lead. Great product.

This is a great idea. I would recommend this to anyone walking more than one dog

I love the coupler. Would like to see a different hasp on each end. The current one (used on this product like the leashes) can catch on things with the two dogs moving independently. I love the hasp on the leashes, but would like something less likely to allow unwanted material to erroneously catch in. Worth getting though!

This was a great purchase and so far working really well for my medium size and smallish size dog. It might be a bit easier if it was a few inches longer, but then that might give them too much slack.

This is a great idea, as our dogs would tangle their leashes. But in reality, because the 7 year old moves faster than the 16 year old it was not practical.

I have been looking for the right coupler for a long time and was pleased to find this one. So far it's holding up great and it's so much nicer to use just one leash. I get lots of compliments on it's vivid color and usefulness.

I bought this for a different purpose, not for two dogs only one. I cannot see how this is wide enough for two large dogs ti walk together without getting tangled but I am sure the experts know.
