Always excellent quality and service from Lupine Pet. Our only regret is that the neon colors fade so rapidly. Alas, we like them the best, so recognize that we have to replace them several times each year.

The d-ring wore out really quickly and is rusty already, after just a few months. It seems that the d-rings are just steel with a thin nickel or something (?) coating. This collar was to replace another Lupine martingale collar, where the d-ring also got rusty. We have a dog with a white ruff so it's really noticeable that her white ruff is discolored. We are going to try a different brand. We have always bought lupin martingale collars, but never had a dog with a white ruff before, so maybe just didn't notice. Also, our other dogs didn't have to be on a leash all the time, so their collars perhaps didn't wear as quickly.

Collars are fine, but customer service is lacking. I ordered two (2) collar for my boys well before the start of their class. Did not receive ANY sort of order confirmation or shipping notice. Because of this, I ordered another two (2) collars and paid for quicker priority shipping. This time I received an order email confirmation. Long story short, I received the first set of collars the afternoon after the obedience class started and the second set the day after. So now I'm stuck with a second set of collars that I paid for priority shipping for, that I now have to send BACK to LupinePet at my own shipping expense. Wanted to support the company versus buying on Amazon, so went through their website. Might want to rethink this next time.

I am a service dog trainer. I train on an individual basis. When I get a new client, the first thing I tell that person is to get a Martingale collar and a 6 foot leash. If they won't. I don't.
