Rubit Dog Tag Clip

I got 2, one for my 20 lb terrier and one for my 35 lb beagle mix. As many have said, the jump ring is sub-par. I replaced that with a stronger ring. The clips both blew apart in a few months after purchase during play. Great idea, poor quality solution.

One common mention and important note is to be certain the leash is never attached to the split-ring. Most often, when the split-ring opens up, it is because the leash was accidentally (and unknowingly) attached to the split-ring instead of the gears d-ring.

I love the concept. it makes it easier to take the tags on and off and put on a different collar or her harness. After almost 2 years it failed. The little hinge and wire broke. it was lucky I had looked down and I saw her tags on the ground. Her license, ID, Dog Park, and rabies tags were all on it. Replacing would’ve been a problem. Though, I’d like to not buy another one I’m taking a chance and replacing it. let’s hope I’m not making a mistake for doing so!

They worked well till my dogs (20 and 30 lbs) got into an exuberant play match. One clip came apart. Thankfully we found all the tags on their split ring and were able to go back to putying it on the collar.

Bonnie: I love everything that I have purchased from LUPINE except when we took the dog for her first walk she lost the clip the first time out and we didn't find it again bummer

I LOVE the clip and that I can put it on or take it off various different collars at ease. But, they make this really nice, sturdy little carabiner (essentially) and then put a really cheap, light-weight jump ring on it to attach your tags to. Put a better jump ring on them!

Bought 2 for each of my dogs. Josie tore the tags off of the clip..fortunately I saw the tags on the ground. She has now completely ripped the clip off his collar and there is no fixing it.

This tag clip is amazing! So much better then the previous "s" clip I had where my dog's tags kept falling off. I have bought several of these to give to friends my dogs.

That tag clip is a brilliant idea! I dog is a very active one and although he bites the tag I put in the tag clip, it has not broken! I am very happy to buy a good product!

Bought so we could switch from collar to collar. Has worked great so far!

So much easier to unclip and place on another collar. Sturdy material and priced affordably. Can't go wrong.

Love these Rubit tag clips. All of my dogs have one. Great product.

Super easy to put on and haven't had any problems with it coming off. Definitely not cheap quality and it came quicker than expected!

Already had one of these for each of my three dogs and have never had a problem with any of them breaking or falling off collars and they are all 2+ years old.

Purchased this latest one for pup #4.

Bought one for my new puppy's harness so I didn't have to worry so much when she needed a bigger harness. Ended up buying more for the rest of the dogs because it was so nice. This is a easy way to keep the dog tags attached, it even survived our beagles trip though the farmers field when she escaped.

I love how you can easily switch tags from one collar to another. I purchase this for my puppy who has quickly been outgrowing collars! Instead of struggling to get his tags off one and onto the next, I just easily clip it now!

I've been using these products for my large breed dogs for almost 7yrs.
I have more dogs so I need to purchase a few more. They are easy to use. I've never had any breaks etc.

This works easily. It's a bit long with all tags on for my dog. She is a 6 mo old Springer.

I bought three of these for my three dogs and they work great! Only complaint is the one size does not fit over the size of the large dog 1" collar ring. Please offer a larger size too.

I absolutely love this clever and easy way to handle all of the tags on my dog's collar. It used to be a nail-breaking chore trying to pull apart pieces of a metal ring to swap out tags or move old tags to a new collar. No more. I can't recommend this enough.

I like how easy it was to connect to the d ring on the collar.

I love the Rubit clip, it makes it very easy to switch tags between collars. However, the jump ring (the one used to actually hold the tags) is flimsy and two of my dogs lost their tags within a week of putting the Rubit on their collars. I replaced the jump ring and fortunately found the tags, so far so good.

I bought this so when I have to switch collars our dog is always tagged. It's doing just fine.

I bought these but now wish I hadn't. I always buy matching tags for the Lupine collars so I have no need to remove them. After reading the other reviews I am concerned about them breaking. I have two dogs so I purchased 2 Rubit clips, at 5.99 a pop these were not cheap. I feel I wasted my money.

Love these they make it so easy to change my dogs collar and just clip on the tag.

We have 6 dogs of different sizes, and I like to change out their collars with the seasons / holidays. (I know, I'm nuts.) The Rubit! makes it very easy to change all of their tags very quickly. Have been using these for several years & only ever had one break, and that was human error, not because of any of the dogs. I think that they're great!

I like these very much but one did break eventually but I think that was because I clipped my leash to it by mistake and the dog pulled.

Good idea, but they broke in no time on both large and small dogs. They need to go back to the drawing board and come up with something sturdier.

I recommend this product. These clips are much better than the ones we were using. I hardly remember the tags ate on the collars. They do not hang to low and transfer easily.

I agree with others that it does make the tags hang lower than normal. My puppy found it rather interesting but, after spraying with Bitter Apple, that hasn't been a problem. I do love the convenience as I remove the neck collar when the dogs wear their harnesses for running and this permits us to go out with tags which is, obviously safer.

two days after putting this on my dog's collar, I lost all my tags. Very, very disappointing to say the least
