Original Designs Martingale Collar for Training

We have always used Lupine Martingale collars for our dogs, and our newest rescue puppy is no exception with his El Paso collar. The collars are sturdy and last as well as being attractive. Never thought a dog collar would receive compliments, but this one does!

The second D Ring needs to be smaller and set farther away from the Leash D ring.
If someone uses the wrong D Ring for the leash, the dog can easily slip the collar.

Love the martingale collars. And the warranty you offer. Need to place more designs and new ones as they have not changed much. Microbatch only comes with clasp or buckle and need more design options for martingale. Overall I have 4 collars and harness for my moms dog and collar . Thank you so much

I have been buying these collars probably since about 2009? These are the ONLY collars my dogs wear their entire lives! I’m now buying one for my grand-dog! They last forever! Love the margintale collars so I don’t have to worry about them slipping out of the collar!

We have bought these collars for all our dogs over the past 25+ years. The colors remain bright and the quality and customer service are excellent which is why we keep purchasing.
Our pups have wrecked 2 collars over the years and Lupine Pet have replaced them no questions asked. I always recommend these martingales to new adopters at the rescue.

I love their collars but the nightingale collar I ordered was too large for my 10 lb. Mini pin. It showed for small dogs. It was a 3/4” width and was way too large on the neck size. Unfortunately I have to return it for a refund.The display pictures were deceiving.

We would recommend the roman style harness (https://www.lupinepet.com/store/dogs/dog-harnesses/roman-dog-harnesses) for walks and training. At 10 lbs, your pup will want the ½” wide for small dogs. We purchased a Sea Glass collar for our Havanese, Brody, in 2013, which he wore every day for ten years. Last month I purchased another Sea Glass collar for our six month old Havanese, Copper, with that same vibrant print and quality. We also ordered a matching ID tag, which is legible, sturdy and really different from the pet store metal ones.
Today I am ordering another collar, a Martingale style, with another matching ID tag. He’s outgrown the one he wore when he was younger. I wish there were a 1/2” or 5/8” 10-16” size available in the Martingale style. Small dogs need training collars, but they are next to impossible to find. The 3/4”-1”
16-20” collar I’m ordering may be too big for our 12-15lb. dog, but we will try it. Thank you for offering such a cool variety of colors and styles. I’ve already given your information to two other owners in our CGC class!

This my third collar from Lupinepet. I'm always happy with the order delivery, craftsmanship, and fit to my dog.

Three years ago I wrote a review saying the quality of collars had gone downhill.
That seems to have been a one-off for that particular design.
I have had 2 other collars for my 2 sheltie and they are in perfect condition. I also have 2 light colored leashes, and aside from getting dirty, are perfect. BTW, they wash up great in the sink.

I use Lupine everything! They are the best when it comes down to quality and replacement, if needed! I used the Martingale specifically because my boxer had a habit of backing out of his collars and he was aggressive so that could never happen. He wore his for 12 years. Invisible fence also used Lupine for the computer collar.
We now have a 13 week old boxer that backs out of his collar so he has a new puppy size to fit him. We always get the cross bone pattern and the pattern shines in the sun. They wash up like new when dirty. You won’t be disappointed in any way!!

I like quality items and I like an honest company. Lupine has both those things. I've been buying lupine martingale collars forever. I love the fun patterns and that there is no clip to break. My 14yr old dogs collar is still pretty after all these years. I'm buying her a new one anyway because I like the quality and the company.

I truly love your martingale collar without the buckle. I always used your collar for my last dog, a Jack Russell. After a buckle failure, I turned to your design and never looked back. Now I have a smaller Jack Russell who has a 9 inch neck and I'm unhappy that you don't make a slightly smaller martingale collar. Would you please consider it? No one has your brilliant design.

I bought this collar for my Sheltie years ago. I passed it on to a friends dog and it still looks as good as new after about 10 years. Didn’t think I’d have another pup, but here I am trying to decide what pattern to choose again. Leaning toward the turtle design since I’m in SW Florida and have watched a few sea turtle hatchlings head to the water.
