Original Designs Safety Cat Collar

I’ve purchased dog collars from this brand in the past and was really impressed. However, I’m not at all impressed with the cat version. The adjuster area is far too bulky. Even with the collar adjusted to a point where I feel it’s too tight, my cat can get his teeth into the bulging adjuster.

There are no collars as pretty as lupine! I would rather get a good quality collar and just by one and it be unique then 3 or 4 so so collars!

We have been using Lupine collars and leashes for several years! Wouldn’t dream of anything else. We have 3 female dogs and 2 male cats…20 paws????. We lovingly refer to them as the boys and girls. They wear matching collars and the boys look so handsome in their bright pink flowered collar, they think so too!! I change collars for seasons, holidays and just because. I very highly recommend them! They wash well in a lingerie bag in the washer and hang to dry. Colors don’t fade…just normally over years of wear. Try them, I promise you won’t be disappointed and if your dog eats or otherwise destroys or loses their collar it will be replaced, free of charge. These are the best collars that we have ever purchased for our cats. The quality is tops.

I absolutely love the pattern on this collar, but the material is too stiff, and seems very uncomfortable around my cat's neck. If there are any suggestions for ways to soften the material so I can try to make it work before returning, I would absolutely love to try to make it work!

Two of my cats have had Lupine collars for years, and I just ordered one for my third cat. Other collars have frayed so easily. These do not - not at all - after years of wear. Both collars still look new. The safety clasp does not open easily but, because each cat has popped it’s collar off once or twice over the years, I know the clasp will release when necessary. Lupine makes great pet collars!

I purchased two (2) cat collars, ElPaso and Tail Feathers, they are made well beyond my expectations. The pictures does not do any justice, You will not be disappointed with the vibrant colors.

I purchased collars for my three cats. I have to say I am impressed. They are sturdier than any collars I have bought previously. The styles are nice. They look great on the cats. They are light enough they don't bother the cats. My cats aren't scratching at them all the time. Even if they did these would hold up better. Will definitely purchase again.

These collars fit my cat wonderfully and look great on him. I always make sure to include a bell because he’s an indoor-outdoor cat and tends to catch small animals. The bell helps warn them that he’s coming. Overall, the quality of these collars is super great and I would definitely recommend this company to a friend!

8 paws and (4 thumbs from Mom and Dad) up for our pretty new necklaces. We've worn LupinePet collars for years, but we love our new collars in Seaglass and Turtle Reef. Mom says they look good with my (Dory) eyes. Their lifetime guarantee is great! We've never had to replace anything though, even though I (Dory) like to run my cat safety collar against anything and everything hard and scratchy. They're colorful, they click, clip, and buckle easily and successfully. Lupine's quick release collar is the best of all of the collars I've tried! Once I went "Lupine" I never bought anyone else's.
The only trouble I have now is all my favorite designs are gone and none of today's designs really suit my pets personality. I may have to search elsewhere just this one time! It pains me because I truly love Lupine's quality!!!

If you're curious, I miss the "peace pup" cat safety collar with bell. And the "cherry blossom" too!

I have been a long time fan of Lupine collars...all of my dogs wear them and I couldn’t be more pleased with the looks and durability.

When I added a cat to the pack, he had to get his own Lupine collar! Unfortunately, it kept coming off of him! He is a reformed tomcat and I had to put the collar out to it’s full length so I thought maybe that was the problem.

Recently, we adopted a petite female cat and purchased a Lupine for her. Her collar also comes undone!!

The collars were purchased as an extra protection should the cats ever slip out of the house but since they have fallen off (and we can’t find them), the collars do them no good.

Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can not recommend the cat collars.

We're sorry for the disappointment. Our cat safety collars are specially designed to breakaway with appoximatley 5 lbs. of pressure, saving your cat when it becomes hooked or caught on things such as branches, etc...All those things that are a lot of fun for kitties!
We're sorry you cats came back with out the collars but happy to hear they did their job and set your kitties free from harm.

I purchased collars for my four kitties 10 years ago. I bought three Lupine and one other, because I thought the other brand’s pattern was cuter. I have never had to replace the Lupine collars. I have washed them occasionally and needed to adjust the size as the kitties grew, but these are the same collars from 10 years ago. The other brand(s) — (it took me a while to catch on) — frayed, pilled, and wouldn’t lie smoothly. And they weren’t cheap! Kitty #4 now has a Lupine collar. ‘Nuf said.

I have 2 fur babies. The oldest has had his collar for 3 years and it still looks brand new. He looks so handsome in his pretty blue collar. The younger one is a beast to his collar. He is constantly scratching his neck and chin which takes a tole on his collar. Lupine has yet to not send our boy a new collar. The last time I even used the app which was even easier to get a replacement. I love these collars and this company. Thanks Lupine for a quality product and a fantastic guarantee.

I bought these collars for my three cats and put their name tags on the collars. The material is nice, strong, pretty and no fray. However, on day one one of my cats collar fell off while he was being pet. Then he lost it a day or two later. I found it and put it back on and all was well for 3 weeks. Now all three of my cats have lost their collars in four days. These collars just fall of too easy.

I’ll love lupine collars. They wear like iron. My beloved cat had her’s for14 years. Our other cat had her’s for over 10+ And fuzzed up the collar somehow (we never figured out). They replaced it no questions asked.

Bought these for my two cats, along with a matching H harness a few years ago after one kitty had an allergic reaction to acat collar bought at Walmart. The collars are great, I love that you can order them with/without a bell. No allergies to lupine collars, but my Maine Coon destroyed one with his claws. Lupine honored their warranty and gave us a replacement. Keeping kittys claws short this time.

Collar is high quality materials just like the ones I have for my dog and I love the colors, but I wish it had a few modifications for a cat. 1, I'm not sure what you use the ring for. It's easier to just slide your tags on to the collar itself with the usual split key-ring, also less bulky that way. 2, the materials are thicker and stiffer than other cat collars I've had. Because of that, they also don't flex around the adjustable buckle very well so it's not laying very evenly around my cat's neck. Wondering long term how this will break in, if at all. I feel like my previous collars were probably more comfortable for her.
