Reflective Dog Leash

Bought this leash yesterday for $20. Used it once for a total of about 10 min. 6 month old pup has gone halfway through it in three places already, and I know puppies have sharp teeth but this was not content gnawing and he’s not even a big chewer, doesn’t destroy lightweight stuffies or anything. Disappointing. We are on a short trip today and I hope it isn’t torn through the next time we get out of the car. Not sure it’s worth the trouble or paying the shipping and handling for “one free replacement “ for another leash to last 10 minutes.

My dog had his new leash on for less than 5 minutes when he chewed right three it. This was 1 1/4 in width but was not sufficiently woven to prevent my dog from chewing right through it. I never received his id tag which I understood was being shipped separately. It’s been 10 days since i placed my order.

Wish I could do zero stars. I purchased a leash a few years ago and loved it so decided to buy a new collar and leash for my dog for a change of looks. I had received a 20% off code from Lupine from being on their mailing list. Decided to go ahead and use the code and buy. Placed the order and hit send right as I realized I forgot to enter the code. Called them immediately and was told they couldn’t alter the amount but would credit my account that amount for my next order. It was $12.90 so not much - I get it - but when I asked about using that to just add three $4 keychains to my order they said no. I don’t buy collars or leashes all the time so I was told that yes I could use the $12.90 to buy keychains but they couldn’t throw them in with my JUST ORDERED purchase (which had personalization so it was going to take a little bit longer) and that I’d be charged shipping if I wanted to add the keychains because it didn’t meet the minimum. Went back and forth and asked if I could speak to a person in charge. Was given Michelle’s voice mail - because conveniently she wasn’t in the office - and left her a message. No response. It’s weeks later now. Crappy customer service. Plenty of competition out there so based on these reviews hopefully they’ll go out of business. They deserve it.

I really like this leash. It seems to be made really well, not cheap looking or flimsy feeling. The reflective material really shows up well. It's also very comfortable in my hand. I would recommend this leash

This a well made leash with a solid clip and a nice padded hand loop. I appreciate having the reflection built into the nice design. Being reflective is important with after-dark walks. 4' is a great length for sidewalk walks.

Good quality reflective dog leash.

This is my 3rd Lupine leash for my two small dogs. I found the first two in my country garden store, lost one, and immediately Googled Lupine to order a new and even prettier one. The leashes are beautiful, well-made, and a perfect width and length for my little ones.

I really like this leash, however, my dog chewed through it. I contact the company and they sent a replacement.

We’ve been using Lupine leashes since the 1990s. So thankful the gate snap fastener is still available. I was pleasantly surprised by how flexible the reflective leash is. I was concerned it would be stiff and uncomfortable.

I submitted my longer original review under the original dog collar design style but also wanted to give kudos here for my second purchase. These collars and leashes are fantastic quality and the reflective ones are really bright and vibrant colors and very reflective. I love the padded handle and swivel feature. Very happy with my purchase!

This is by far the highest quality dog leash I've ever used. This doesn't really glow BUT any light source at night makes the reflective fibers shine to the point you think they glow. I've only had for a month so time will tell if the reflective fibers hold up but given Lupine's return policy, I'm confident that my dog will always have a shiny color for low light situations.

Compared to other Lupine leashes, the reflective threads make for a scratchy edge. It makes them a little uncomfortable to wrap around my hand. I do love that they are reflective on both sides of the fabric.

The alpine pet products lasted for 15 years on my Anatolian Shepard and havanese. Also the Dixon's were accurate. Finally the hardware store here in Westover NV is carrying leashes and collars again. I now have a American Labrador that has pulled snapped collars chewed through leashes ect.....she is now 18 months old . I am so grateful to have obtained the alpine collar and leash for her. Thank you alpine company for great canine products.

Orange reflective leash and collar

We got the 4ft orange reflective leash. Absolutely love it. Shows up great during the day and at night!! Love the different length options. Please keep the reflective line always- it’s awesome to know we are more visible walking in low light or at night time!
